名摺師が手がける最高傑作
酒井　抱一（1761〜1828） 

江戸小川町に生まれる。応挙を追慕し、
深く写生を研究する。
後に光琳を慕い臨撫模倣、精妙を極める。
妙顕寺にある光琳の墓は抱一が再建した
ものである。
再版には、明治期に木版画で出版した
当時の「原版木」を用い、京都在住の
名摺師が当時のままに手摺しました。

Hoitsu Sakai, 1761-1828
Hoitsu Sakai was born in Edo as 
the son of a nobleman.
That gave him the financial means 
to devote his life to the fine arts and 
become a well-known painter.
Hoitsu made a few woodblocks 
and a few books,but the main activity 
was painting in Rimpa style.

   the original woodblocks(Meiji era)
